I only recently realized that I am black in America for the New York Kirby Shirt it is in the first place but same reasons as I am white in Africa. It’s really a matter of what makes people different. In a room full of white people, I am blacker, in a room full of black people, I am whiter. That is all. Personally, I consider myself a person of color, not black or white. According to this dictionary, it is not an exotic version of the American word.
It means “all or part of a person of non-Caucasian descent.” No… I’m a mix of black and white. This is what I usually get home. The term is commonly used in South Africa and I think is most appropriate after the New York Kirby Shirt it is in the first place but so-called mulatto. Still the same question. Again, genetics.
