If you want to take a strong and bold look, an army print will go well with black pants. Anything goes with black. If you want to pair the black pants with another black, I’d reccomend to figure out wheter your pants is a warm black, or a cool black, and pair the top accordingly. Warm blacks don’t do well with cool blacks and vice versa. Otherwise, I’d suggest you keep away from very dark colours that can seem like black, but isn’t, as it will have the same effect as with the warm/cool thing.
